Tour Plan

Day 1 Arrival Guwahati – Transfer to Bhalukpong

Distance: 240 km | Travel Time: 6–7 hours

Drive through scenic plains and hills to reach Bhalukpong, a gateway to Arunachal. Overnight stay in Bhalukpong.

Day 2 Bhalukpong to Dirang – Sightseeing en route

Distance: 140 km | Travel Time: 5–6 hours

Visit Tipi Orchidarium and drive along the Kameng River. Arrive in Dirang and explore the local market and hot springs.

Day 3 Dirang to Tawang – Via Sela Pass

Distance: 135 km | Travel Time: 6–7 hours

Cross the snow-covered Sela Pass (13,700 ft), visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial. Evening arrival in Tawang.

Day 4 Tawang – Monastery, War Memorial, Craft Center

Local sightseeing day. Explore Tawang Monastery, craft center, and visit the light and sound show at the war memorial.

Day 5 Excursion to Bum La Pass & Madhuri Lake

Distance: 40 km (one-way) | Travel Time: 2 hours (one-way)

Day trip to high-altitude Bum La Pass and the serene Madhuri Lake. Requires permit.

Day 6 Tawang to Bomdila

Distance: 180 km | Travel Time: 6–7 hours

Return journey via mountain passes. Visit Bomdila Monastery and local market.

Day 7 Bomdila to Guwahati – Departure

Distance: 270 km | Travel Time: 8–9 hours

Drive back to Guwahati with memories of the Eastern Himalayas.
