Eshey Tsering

Trip planning and bookings

Eshey is usually the first person you'll speak to at Namoh. Tell him roughly what you have in mind, a pass you saw in a photo or ten days off work, and he'll shape it into a route, a pace and a departure date that suit you.

Sonam Tashi

Tours and operations

Sonam looks after everything that happens once a trip leaves Leh: the bikes, the permits, the stays and the support vehicle behind the group. If something needs sorting on the road, his is usually the phone that rings.

Jigmat Otsal

Trip specialist

Otsal knows every trip we run, day by day: which stretches are long, where the road gets rough and which departures suit a first visit to Ladakh. Ask him to compare two itineraries and he'll tell you plainly which one fits you.

Meet the marshals

Marshals ride with every Namoh motorcycle group. One sets the pace at the front, one rides at the back, and between them nobody gets left behind on the road.

Expedition marshal

Mohd Hussain

My name is Mohd Hussain, and I work as an Expedition Marshal in Ladakh.

I have around 5 years of experience working in the adventure and expedition field. I started my journey as a helper, where I learned the basics of field operations, equipment handling, road conditions, and supporting expedition teams.

During my early years, I also worked with and operated different types of machinery, which helped me develop practical experience and confidence in challenging terrain.

With time, experience, and dedication, I progressed into the role of an Expedition Marshal. Today, my responsibility is to coordinate riders, manage group movements, maintain discipline and safety on the route, assist riders when needed, and make sure the entire expedition runs smoothly.

For me, being a Marshal is not just about leading a group. It is about responsibility, teamwork, safety, communication, and making sure every rider has a memorable experience in the Himalayas.
